What are vectors?
A vector can have different incarnations. The one you are most familiar with is the position. A Position Vector consists of a X, Y and Z value defining a position in a 3 dimensional space.
Next thing is a Velocity vector. It also has X,Y and Z values but they are used differently. A Velocity Vector is always connected to a time span, usualy a second. It describes what distance an object will cover in this timeframe. It's length gives the distance and it's direction the direction of the movement.
